On Saturday morning, hazardous gas from the DuPont plant in La Port, Texas, claimed the lives of four workers while injuring one other. Chrystle Rae Wise, local resident and employee of DuPont, was among those tragically killed on the job when deadly Methyl Mercaptan gas apparently leaked.

A lawsuit was filed on Tuesday afternoon in Lincoln County against General Motors on behalf of a Missouri man who’s daughter was permanently injured in an accident. According to her father, Kayla Marler was "a teen age girl with the dangly key chain". Kayla was 16 years old at the time of the accident.

Jose Salazar, a Track Laborer for TransitAmerica Services Inc (TASI), wwas struck by a 1500 lb rail when his co-workers lost control while moving the rail with a backhoe. He was knocked unconscious and remained in a coma for over one month.

“BP hit with punitive damages” and “BP may be liable for $18 Billion in additional damages” were the headlines in recent days with the MDL court's comprehensive 153 page opinion stemming from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico over four years ago. April 22nd, 2013 - Houston, Tx - Brent Coon & Associates has filed multiple lawsuits against BP and other defendants on behalf of over 10,000 of its clients who were victims of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion and the ensuing Gulf oil spill in April 2010. The lawsuits, which were filed in several different jurisdictions along the Gulf Coast, also name Transocean and Halliburton as defendants.
